Helping Motor Neurone Disease Scotland, One Pound At A Time
It is often said that “a picture can speak a thousand words”. Inevitably, that begs the question, “how much could a thousand pictures say?”
Now, I’m sure a few of you will immediately be thinking “a million words?” but that is not my point.
Having recently travelled to Barcelona and seen Celtic perform on one of the grandest stages of them all, I have been left with many memories that will live with me for a long time.
Through @MBBarca, I asked for you all to send in your own photos of your time in Catalunya. With those, I have created collage style desktops, an example of which can be seen by clicking the word “AFTER” below.
As many of you will know, at Maley’s Bhoys we are attempting to raise as much money as possible for Motor Neurone Disease Scotland this season. At present, we have only managed to raise a little over £300.
For this reason, if anyone would like me to recreate a similar effect with any personal photo they may have of their time following Celtic in Barcelona, please feel free to contact me (on here, or on Twitter) and I’d be more than happy to create one for you (or any of your family and friends).
However, what I would ask is that, if you can, please donate a couple of pounds, or whatever you are comfortable with, to our appeal, and to a very, very worthy charitable organisation, in exchange. Of course, this is entirely voluntary, but every single pound really does help.
You can donate using Paypal by gifting money to “email@example.com”. If anyone has any issues or questions, please feel free to contact me.
Thank you, and thank you again to the people of Barcelona for welcoming us to their city.
