Venezuelan Striker Joins With Only Hours Left In Transfer Window
Celtic have now confirmed that Nicholás Fedor (also known as Miku) has joined the club on a season long loan deal. Adding to the arrival of Efe Ambrose, Celtic have now brought in the central defender and tall centre forward many supporters felt the squad required. Standing at a little over six feet tall, Miku has featured on occasion for the Spanish national side.
During his youth career, the forward played for Santo Tomás Villinueva and Valencia, before progressing into his senior career with the Spanish giants. He only played twice, before being loaned out to Alcoyano, Salamanca, and Ciudad Murcia, before returning to Valencia’s B team. He then played for Gímnastic and Salamanca (again) on loan, before moving to Getafe in 2010, where he has scored twenty four times in eighty five appearances.
Miku turned twenty seven less than a fortnight ago, and it is believed that Celtic will have the option to sign the player permanently at the end of the season should they wish to do so.
Nicholás Fedor, welcome to Celtic Football Club.
